Vintage Disney Shopping: Chloe’s Treasure Thursday

Hey howdy hey! Welcome to another curated list of vintage Disney goods from yours truly. With Disneyland’s big 70th anniversary celebration officially kicking off tomorrow, I have a Vault Collection of my own to share with you… straight from the trenches of eBay. Most of these finds are from the opening decade of Disneyland, our little Happiest Place on Earth. Whether you’re a die-hard fan looking for that next unique collectible or considering a gift for a fellow Disney enthusiast, check out these treasures!

Felt pennants are making a slow return with each vintage-inspired Disney merch collection, but nothing beats an original. This one’s from Disneyland Park’s opening year, featuring Walt’s favorite fairy, twinkling stars and a few castle turrets. The classic Disneyland font is also easy to root for. How’s that for 70?

Available HERE | $99

I’m in love with the color palette of this wee souvenir plate. Showcasing Disneyland Park’s icons circa 1959: Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Matterhorn. These little cuties are perfect for adding to your vanity or nightstand to hold jewelry, or display on your wall amongst photo frames and other vintage memorabilia.

This pocket knife from OPENING DAY is a relic. It belongs in a museum! I’ll take ‘things they don’t sell in theme parks anymore’ for $500, Alex.

Available HERE | $169.95

Another relic? Well, alright. This water-less vintage snowglobe features Tinker Bell and a real little ‘little pinky’, Sleeping Beauty Castle. Just add more glitter and your own water!

Available HERE | $29.74

Last up today is this vintage lunchbox and thermos pairing. In case you missed my lunchbox feature a few months back, these are some of my favorite vintage pieces to collect. They double-up as storage vessels and can be displayed on a shelf for pops of color, or utilized as bookends. This pair is in decent shape, and for a decent price. I’ve seen these go for upwards of $300!

Each side showcases a different land, I think the Tomorrowland side is my favorite!

Available HERE | $128.25

I hope you enjoyed this week’s selection of vintage Disneyland goodies! Let me know if you’d like to see any specific character or theme featured and I’ll include them in my weekly searches. Ta-ta!
