I’ve got a bit of a weird one to share with you now that needed a little more explanation than we had time for in this morning’s Monday Merch Meeting. It was hectic, I know. There was one item that I intentionally left out because there was something about it that puzzled me. Today was the day we were expecting to see the newest release for Lunar New Year. The new plush to celebrate the 2025 Year of the Snake arrived; however, it has a title that includes 2024 in the description. I immediately second-guessed myself. Is this a leftover item from last year that is now being re-introduced?
Well, no. See, the 2024 celebration featured the Year of the Dragon, and both the details in Mickey’s outfit and the description in the product details match the Year of the Snake (the Wood Snake, to be exact), which is set to begin celebrations on January 29th of 2025. I’m going to leave everything for you here the way it currently shows, though I do expect this one to be corrected very soon unless there is something I’ve missed!
