The “Reclaimed and Reforged” storyline that was previously announced for Disneyland’s Season of the Force will also be making its way over to Batuu East at Walt Disney World on May the 4th. During this limited-time offering, you can build lightsabers using scraps scavenged by space pirates throughout the galaxy.
Disney shares:
“Over the centuries, countless lightsabers fell into the hands of smugglers and bounty hunters. Remnants of ancient battles and abandoned scrap have been scavenged from the distant reaches of the galaxy’s outer rim. Now, Guests can build them into elegant tools that symbolize balance in The Force.”
While we appreciate their integrity in storytelling, there’s not too much information on this limited-time experience. Many are left wondering which saber pieces are exactly included. Are these brand-new builds that have yet to be available at Savi’s, or will they be made from actual old recycled pieces from past releases?
…This is a nice start, but I’m sure many of us WDW frequenters would love to see more Season of the Force offerings brought over to the east coast park which once hosted Star Wars Weekends! Hey, I’ll take a special Star Wars fireworks display on May the 4th… maybe Revenge of the 5th even?
