Star Wars Celebration London kicks off tomorrow, April 7, and RSVLTS will release three new shirts at the event in honor of the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Yes, the shirts unfortunately will be exclusive to Celebration London and you probably don’t have time to book a flight to England to get one. If you’re going, feel free to pick me up one, because the designs are awesome. Each shirt is $70 and will only be available while supplies last.
Endor Camo
There are a lot of iconic outfits in Return of the Jedi. Most people would jump straight to Leia’s bikini as the most memorable, but I’ve always been a fan of the camo poncho Leia wears on Endor. RSVLTS has brought the poncho to life as a KUNUFLEX shirt and the authenticity is perfect. Imagine walking around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge wearing a classic look from the original movies, but not sweating profusely because it isn’t a poncho.
Stormtroopers Celebration
This shirt is like a Star Wars comic panel brought to life on a shirt. The design is heavily bluish-grey with the stormtroopers white armor popping off the shirt and accented dramatically with pops of pink coming from the blasters. The design on the front of the shirt is also on the back.
Ewok Warriors
Are there any Star Wars characters more divisive than Ewoks? Yes, Jar Jar Binks, but that’s not what this is about. This shirt design features, in my opinion, the best species featured in any of the Star Wars movies. The Ewoks on the shirt are highly stylized, but you’ll recognize the homages to Return of the Jedi, like Ewoks on the AT-ST, stealing a speeder bike, playing stormtrooper helmets as drums, and more. The purple shirt also features accent shadows of the forest moon.
