Beginning Friday, September 13th, the Star Tours StarSpeeder 3000 Vehicle Play Set will be available for sale at Tatooine Traders in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The play set is a Star Tours vehicle replica complete with original attraction footage, and the Sorcerer Droid and Captain Rex Droid Talking Action Figures.
The highly detailed replica of the epic Star Wars spacecraft includes an LCD screen with authentic attraction content and features scale seats with seat belts, opening doors, blasters with sound effects, and a reversible light-up display stand.
We first saw this set when we were making our shopping lists for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The price on this limited-edition piece was $300 at D23 and Disney Store (no longer available online), but we don’t know yet if the price will be the same at the parks.
