Disney Cruise Line offers big savings with their Restricted Guarantee fares. When available, these discounted fares can save you a lot of money if you are flexible about the location of your stateroom and have the ability to book a last-minute cruise, which typically means about 21-75 days prior to departure.
It’s important to note that you will not know your stateroom number until roughly 14-days before your sail date, but it could be assigned as late as the day you sail. Disney Cruise Line does guarantee that you will get the stateroom type that you booked, just not the exact location on the ship. Some guests have reported being assigned a higher level stateroom than what they booked, i.e. a verandah stateroom instead of an oceanview. Head over to DCLFan.com to learn more about the IGT/OGT/VGT restrictions and what they mean.
The Restricted Guarantee stateroom categories are offered when available and on select sailings.
The categories are:
Inside or Better Stateroom
(minimum category 11C)
Oceanview or Better Stateroom
(minimum category 9D)
Verandah or Better Stateroom
(minimum category 7A)
There are very important restrictions you need to be aware of prior to booking these Restricted Guarantee fares. First, because these categories are only released after the final payment date for a particular sailing, full payment is required at the time of booking. Additionally, once you book, you cannot cancel or make changes of any kind to a guarantee status stateroom. In the chart below, you’ll find the most current availability in the Restricted Guarantee categories. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that these rates will still be available when you’re ready to book as they often disappear as quickly as they’re presented.
We’ve listed (in US dollars) the base fare which includes taxes, fees, and port expenses for 2-Adults per stateroom. Fares for the 3rd and 4th (adult and child) guests will be lower.
