UPDATE: We’ve heard that this release has been postponed, but it should still be happening at some point this week. Be sure to keep a close eye out on the Disney Updates section of our homepage for up-to-the-minute news on the Summer 2021 itineraries!
Normally, Disney will announce dates and itineraries a few days before they are available to book – we anticipate that will happen around Feb 20th or Feb 21st. In past years when booking opens, Platinum Castaway Club members (those who have sailed on Disney Cruise Line ten times or more) will have the first opportunity to book (Feb 24th). Gold Castaway Club (five or more DCL cruises) will be able to book the following day (Feb 25th), followed by DVC members, Golden Oak residents, and Silver Castaway Club members (2 or more Disney cruises) on Feb 26th. Reservations will be available to the general public starting on Feb 27th.
It’s very important to note that the earlier you book your cruise, the lower your price will be since the rates increase as the ships fill up.
With this release, Disney will announce dates for their Alaska cruises for 2021, along with several European itineraries, as well as itineraries for their standard sailings to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. There are also usually unexpected announcements with these releases. Last year, Disney announced two sailings to and from Hawaii which sold out within a few days.
Although we do not have exact details on the dates or itineraries just yet, we are advising that if you’re interested in booking a cruise for Summer 2021, please email your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent directly. If you do not have an assigned agent yet, please send an email to [email protected] and they will assign an agent to you so you can receive your quote as quickly as possible once Disney Cruise Line releases the details.
If you book your Disney Cruise Line vacation through Dreams Unlimited Travel – the official sponsor of the DIS – you can receive a shipboard credit of up to $1000 plus an exclusive complimentary gift basket.
