As we learned on Monday, Disneyland Paris will debut a major expansion on March 29, 2026, with the opening of World of Frozen in Disney Adventure World. The significant addition will complete a transformation that will nearly double the size of the resort’s second theme park. The project also includes a Tangled attraction, extensive new dining, landscaped gardens, entertainment, and a large waterfront area with a new nighttime spectacular.
World of Frozen will bring Arendelle to life with a family attraction, daytime show, royal encounter, shops, and dining. The land will join Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar in the theme park focused on stories from Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel.

Guests will enter Disney Adventure World through World Premiere, the redesigned entrance that opened last year. From there, Adventure Way (pictured at the top) will stretch across the expansion as a new promenade with 14 brand-new food and beverage locations, lush gardens, and live entertainment.
- La Terrasse Panoramique will serve bread bowls, New York rolls, and hot beverages. Café Luminosity will offer a specialty hot dog with four recipes, plus cinnamon rolls. Chalets and carts will sell brioche rolls, stuffed potato waffles, and Disney Princess-inspired desserts.
- Tangled Garden will offer a romantic space to relax. Toy Story Garden will feature playful topiaries with statues of Woody and Jessie. The Gazebo Garden will include bronze figures from Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.
- Live entertainment will change each season. Rapunzel and Flynn appear in the spring. Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band take over in summer. Miguel’s Latin Festival follows in the fall, along with additional character greetings beginning in November. Minnie Mouse will lead the Disney Marching Band through the avenue with music from Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel films.

On the waterfront, the West Pavilion will feature early 20th-century architecture and meet-and-greets with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in new Victorian outfits.

Raiponce Tangled Spin will whirl guests in their own individual gondolas under floating lanterns set to I See the Light. Mandy Moore actually recorded exclusive audio announcements for this attraction!

Next door, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a detailed setting with embroidered drapes, carved wood, and murals of Disney Princesses. Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan, and Ariel will appear at the location. Royal Delft, the renowned Dutch porcelain manufacturer and official supplier to the Dutch royal family, created custom porcelain plates inspired by Disney Princesses for this dining venue.

A canopy from Alsace marks the entrance, showcasing the ironwork expertise dating back to the early 19th century. The adjoining lounge features the first bar inside a Disneyland Paris park, and is decorated in royal blue with gold accents and artwork of Heihei, Pascal, and Mushu.

The restaurant and lounge overlook Adventure Bay and World of Frozen. Each evening, the lake will host a brand-new nighttime spectacular, “Disney Cascade of Lights,” a 360-degree performance with drones, fountains, water screens, and pyrotechnics. The show will feature scenes inspired by Mulan, Hercules, Moana, Zootopia, Up, and the Marvel Universe. A new aquatic drone system will debut alongside advanced aerial drones. The production will feature classic songs and a new anthem titled “We Can Be Heroes.”

Work continues on an original score for Adventure Way, a 40-minute theme recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Construction is also underway on a Lion King-themed land on Adventure Bay. The area will feature a water-based attraction with next-generation Audio-Animatronics and music from the 1994 film. A family-friendly flying carousel inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Up will join the lineup soon after.

The expansion marks the most significant update to the park since 2002, with more than 90 percent of offerings refreshed once complete. Now, please pardon me while I continue researching flights to Paris!
