Recently, I had a chance to enjoy The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco, which is being presented several times a day in Disney California Adventure through at least November 1st.
You can catch the 15-minute show just outside the main entrance to Plaza de la Familia (or Paradise Gardens). Look for the taped off viewing area beginning around 30 minutes before the first show.
The cast includes 2 talented singers, 10 dancers, and a very special guest (or two) retelling the story of the Disney-Pixar animated film Coco.
A few guests can even become part of the show as the cast shows them how to perform a traditional dance.
To round out the show, the storytellers bring out a special guest and his guitar to help sing a couple of songs from the film.
Finally, specialty dancers join the show as the storytellers share of Miguel’s visit to the Land of the Dead.
In addition to the show, there are crafts, specialty foods, character meets, and other entertainment inside Plaza de la Familia that are definitely worth checking out before or after the show.
