If you’re reading this, chances are you’re a Disney theme park enthusiast. An enthusiast who, like me, probably dreams about meandering through their favorite land after the sun has set, the crowds have dissipated, and the background area music really shines.
Listening to Disney music is one of the easiest ways to bring the magic of one of our favorite places to our home (or workplace!). The carefully-curated background music loops which play throughout the lands of Walt Disney World can effortlessly play in the background of our daily life. They serve soft reminders of nice theme park memories… and leave us wondering “when is our next WDW vacation again?”
Here are five of my favorite BGM (background music) loops — you may have to click through and watch these on YouTube if you see an error message in the preview. Happy listening!
Disney Springs Background Music
This one is sort of a sleeper hit, you may not think of Disney Springs when you think of beloved BGM, but it’s pretty chill and catchy!
EPCOT’s Future World Area Loop
Classic. May she rest in peace. This will forever be my favorite music loop and I miss it each time I visit EPCOT. Though recently, late at night, I caught some clips of retro Future World playing near The Land!
The Great Movie Ride Exterior Loop
Well, speaking of rest in peace, how could I not include one of my all-time favorites? Keep the sweet old Hollywood memories alive by popping this timeless BGM on now and then.
The Land Pavilion BGM Loop (2015-Present)
The BGM which plays throughout The Land pavilion – lovingly dubbed as EPCOT’s “airport” – appropriately features scores from various films from music greats John Williams, James Horner, and John Barry.
Tomorrowland Area Music
Of course, there’s nothing quite like walking through a mostly-empty Tomorrowland and hearing this loop overhead. Makes me want to hop on the PeopleMover real bad.
