Disney Celebrated Family Volunteering Day on November 23rd

As we previously reported, guests and Disney cast members celebrated Family Volunteer Day this past Saturday, November 23rd. Different events and volunteer opportunities were offered at Walt Disney WorldDisneyland, and around the world, allowing participants to jump in and help make a difference in local communities.

At Walt Disney World, guests joined Mickey Mouse, hundreds of Disney VoluntEARS, and the Aguirre family (the Disney and Points of Light Volunteer Family of the Year) at a celebration held at Disney Springs.

At Disneyland, guests at Disney California Adventure Park joined in on projects to help local education groups, while Walt Disney Imagineering voluntEARS helped at the OC Food Bank in Orange County, California.
