One night during a recent trip to Disneyland Park, I found myself back in Fantasyland around dinnertime. Trying to think about what I wanted to eat, I remembered that I’d heard about a limited-time dish I wanted to try at the Red Rose Taverne called the Burger Fantasyland Faire Fold, priced at $14.99.
Funny story – this was my first time inside the Red Rose Taverne since it opened back in 2017 with a Beauty and the Beast theme. This dining location used to be Pinocchio Village Haus Restaurant with a Pinocchio theme, and I almost didn’t recognize it. I thought it was real cute; in fact, it gave me vibes from Gaston’s Tavern in New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The Pinocchio murals were removed, carvings replaced, and decor refreshed to showcase the Beauty and the Beast theme.
I was thrilled that this restaurant uses Mobile Order as it was pretty busy. Once I placed my order and tapped that I’d arrived, the app told me my order would be ready in 3-11 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised when the message saying my order was ready for pickup came through three minutes later.
As you can see, this dining location is quite dark, so bear with me on these next photos, as they are on the darker side, too. The portion size of this dish was quite large, so it was perfect for sharing – it took up the entire paper basket in the photo.

The description on the menu reads, “Flour tortilla filled with seasoned ground beef, hash browns, cheese, white cheese sauce, and burger sauce.”
You guys, when I tell you that this was absolutely delicious, I really mean it. Please do not miss out on trying this one if you’ll be visiting Disneyland soon, as it is perfection. The ground beef was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the cheesy sauce mixed with actual cheese and hashbrowns to boot made this the best comfort food on a really cold night.
As a bonus, there was another unique limited-time menu item available for dessert that I couldn’t resist trying – the Salted Caramel Butter Cake Sundae for $8.49. I KNOW! The butter cake was topped with a hefty scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled with salted caramel, and pretzel sticks on top. Yes, it tasted just as incredible as it sounds, maybe even better. Pay absolutely no mind to the pretzels getting soft as they sat on the ice cream – we know that’s going to happen, right? This dessert was the best one I’ve had in a Disney theme park for a very long time. The cake was rich and buttery while the salted caramel provided the perfect balance between the sweet ice cream. The salty pretzels had the crunch that brought it all together in the most fabulous way.
If the main entree here wasn’t so fantastic, I’d almost tell you to skip it and go straight for dessert, but since I’m always honest with you all, I have to insist that you try both, even if you have the Fold for lunch and wait until later in the day for the sundae!
