Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration is happening now through summer 2026! Guests can look forward to the return of the Paint the Night Parade, Wondrous Journeys Fireworks, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade plus an all-new World of Color Happiness!, limited edition merchandise, and special menu items.

Key to Disneyland
The Key to Disneyland has been one of the most sought-after Disneyland 70th merchandise items as it offers an all-new way to experience the park. This interactive key takes guests on a scavenger hunt to the nine lands within the park to “unlock” new magic. At each “lock” location, the key unlocks a new light-up park icon on the key itself, plus some fun interactive elements. Not only is the key a fun way to experience a Disneyland scavenger hunt, it’s also a souvenir to take home. Inside each key is one of nine mystery pins you can only collect by purchasing the key and completing the challenge.
The nine key locations throughout Disneyland Park include –
- Main Street, U.S.A. – Disneyland Fire Station
- Adventureland – Aladdinโs Lamp inside the Adventureland Bazaar Shop
- New Orleans Square – Outside the Club 33 entrance across from the Mlle. Antoinette’s Parfumerie Shop
- Bayou Country – Outside Pooh Corner Shop
- Star Wars: Galaxyโs Edge – Across from Rise of the Resistance Attraction Entrance
- Frontierland – Wilderness Expeditions and Delivery Service Wagon (near the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxyโs Edge)
- Mickeyโs Toontown – Across from Roger Rabbit’s Cartoon Spin
- Fantasyland – Fantasy Faire to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle
- Tomorrowland – Near the exit for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin

You can complete the key challenge in any order and it does not have to be completed on the same day. The key tracks your progress with an icon for each of the lands you have collected. Each land lights up a different color and plays different music. For example, New Orleans Square lights up blue with an icon of the gargoyle candelabra while “Grim Grinning Ghosts” plays. The key starts out glowing white with part of Walt Disney’s 1955 opening day speech from Disneyland. Once each land is completed, you can play back these special effects.

Once each of the nine lock stations have been unlocked, you can then complete the challenge by going to the final stop near Disneyland’s main entrance and the train station. This is where the Key to Disneyland gets really fun! The key lights up in a rainbow and plays the Fantasmic! theme, plus your key magically unlocks to reveal a special mystery pin.
Mystery pin designs include –
- Main Street, U.S.A. – Partner’s Statue
- Adventureland – Jungle Cruise Boat
- New Orleans Square – Haunted Mansion Gargoyle
- Bayou Country – Winnie the Pooh Honey Pot
- Star Wars: Galaxyโs Edge – The Millennium Falcon
- Frontierland – The Mark Twain Riverboat
- Mickeyโs Toontown – Mickey’s Toontown House
- Fantasyland – Sleeping Beauty Castle
- Tomorrowland – Space Mountain
