The Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration is back and better than ever! And just in time for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, which kicks off Friday, May 16th and runs through summer 2026. You can watch Better Together twice each day in Disney California Adventure with the parade route following Avengers Campus, past Carthay Circle, and along Paradise Bay.
Better Together originally premiered in 2024 as part of Disneyland’s Pixar Fest and was an instant fan favorite. The parade has not changed since then, but we enjoy it just as much!
Better Together gets the party started with everyone’s favorite boy band from Turning Red, 4*TOWN. The float features Panda Mei, her parents, and best friends, plus the iconic “Nobody Like U” performed by 4*TOWN. Right now, this is the only place in Disneyland where you can see characters from Turning Red, and it is the first in-park 4*TOWN character experience.
Next up in Better Together are Carl, Russell, Dug, and Kevin from Up. Details include Russell riding on Kevin and Kevin’s babies perched along the float. You can catch a peek of Dug waving to guests on the back of the float.
For the first time ever, Joe Gardner (or Mr. G as his students call him) from Soul is featured on his own float. He is accompanied by his students playing real instruments to a version of “It’s All Right.”
Also making their parade debut are Luca, Alberto, and Giulla from Luca. The coolest part of the float is seeing the underwater gill version of Luca and Alberto.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Pixar celebration without the duo of Joy and Sadness from Inside Out. This float features core memories, Riley’s childhood wagon, and everyone’s favorite imaginary friend, Bing Bong.
Wrapping up the Better Together parade is a celebration of Pixar favorites like Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone, who race through the parade route on these very *incredible* hover pods.
Woody from Toy Story leads the way for the last float in a toy dump truck with his best pal Buzz Lightyear following close behind. The finale float features Buzz, Coco and Dante from Coco, and Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc.
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration is a fantastic addition to Disney California Adventure! The soundtrack is upbeat, and you’ll be happy to find it stuck in your head all day.
