Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary celebration is happening now through summer 2026 with returning favorites and new nighttime entertainment all to “Celebrate Happy.” Two new offerings exclusive to the 70th celebration are Tapestry of Happiness at “it’s a small world” in Disneyland Park and A Little Touch of Magic – “Celebrate Happy” at Carthay Circle in Disney California Adventure. Both projection shows happen multiple times each evening and are a great way to feel immersed in the celebration. We loved both shows and appreciate another entertainment option that feels both spontaneous and magical!
Tapestry of Happiness at “it’s a small world”
Tapestry of Happiness is projected onto the iconic “it’s a small world” attraction façade, with showings multiple times each night after the conclusion of the last ‘Paint the Night’ Parade. Be sure to check the Disneyland app for showtimes during your visit.
The show begins and ends with the official anthem of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, “Celebrate Happy” by the Jonas Brothers. All of the images are in the style of Mary Blair’s art from “it’s a small world” starting with Main Street, U.S.A., and the Dapper Dans singing along.
Much of the show features images and music from classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, plus new attractions like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
There are also nods to infamous Disneyland nighttime spectaculars like the historic Main Street Electrical Parade and Fantasmic!
My personal favorite part of Tapestry of Happiness has to be the image of the Sherman Brothers performing “It’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” and a cameo from Mary Blair herself during the finale scenes.
“Celebrate Happy” – A Little Touch of Magic at Carthay Circle Theater
A Little Touch of Magic is a two-minute projection show on Carthay Circle Theater at Disney California Adventure. Tinker Bell begins the show by bringing light to Carthay Circle with the “Celebrate Happy” by the Jonas Brothers playing throughout.
With the help of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust, Carthay Circle transforms into Sleeping Beauty Castle and even has a “make it pink, make it blue” moment inspired by Sleeping Beauty.
The finale of A Little Touch of Magic is Carthay Circle transforming into all the colors from Disneyland’s 70th, and even a projected fireworks show. This is a nice way to end the night and feel the energy of the Disneyland 70th celebration!
