Tarzan’s Treehouse in Disneyland Evacuated Sunday After Wooden Slat on Rope Bridge Breaks

Tarzan’s Treehouse in Disneyland’s Adventureland was evacuated on Sunday, November 10th after a wooden slat on one of the rope bridges broke. According to MiceChat, a father jumped while on the rope bridge in an attempt to prove to his children how safe the attraction was. The rope bridge is located at a spot in the attraction that is three stories above the ground.

A picture from Twitter user, @DisneyDragon, shows the broken bridge slat.

No one was injured in Sunday’s incident, and the attraction was closed for the evening. No word has been released on if or how long the attraction will be down for repairs. If you’re headed to Disneyland soon, keep an eye on the Disneyland app for attraction availability updates.
