We are only hours away from the official opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland Park. The new attraction will make its home in the flagship park, perfectly placed in Critter Country near New Orleans Square. A long-awaited reopening of this re-themed attraction, the once-Splash Mountain ride has been missed by many. The famous flume ride offers thrills, spills, and some of my favorite views of Disneyland Park, especially during the fireworks display as you approach the top of the drop.
To celebrate the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in its second iteration, after opening in Walt Disney World earlier this year, there are a whole series of activities you can enjoy in Disneyland Park. Let’s take a look at some of the suggestions from Disney Parks on how to mark the occasion when you visit.
- Try some family recipes that are just the bee’s knees over at Tiana’s Palace.
- Sit for a spell and listen to the Jambalaya Jazz band play a tune or two in New Orleans Square.
- Get dressed to the nines with a selection of unique accessories from Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets.
- Find a style that makes you light up over at Ray’s Berets.
- Browse around Louis’ Critter Club, where you can bring a piece of bayou magic home with you.
- Embark on a musical journey full of thrills, friendly faces and more with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
