What is the Disney Vacation Club?

A Disney Vacation Club membership is Disney’s version of a timeshare. You become a member by purchasing “points” (either directly through Disney or on the resale market). With your membership (and depending on the number of points you purchase), you are able to book rooms at any of Disney’s 14 DVC Resorts (including Vero Beach, FL; Hilton Head, SC; and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii).

Your membership starts with the purchase of points that are used in exchange for hotel rooms at select resorts at Walt Disney World, Disneyland in California, Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii, as well as resorts in Hilton Head, SC, and Vero Beach FL. The resort, the time of year, and the type of room you’re interested in will determine how many points per night you will have to use for your vacation.
