Banana Ball Coming to Walt Disney World In 2026

The Savannah Bananas are bringing their fast-paced, fan-favorite sport to the most magical place on Earth. For the first time ever, Banana Ball will be played at Walt Disney World Resort, with games scheduled for May 29 and 30, 2026 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The announcement was made live during the 2026 Banana Ball City Selection Show, which aired on ESPN2, ESPN+, Disney+, and the Banana Ball YouTube channel.

This marks the Disney debut of what’s been dubbed “The Greatest Show in Sports,” and it’s taking place inside The Stadium, a 9,500-seat venue within the 220-acre ESPN complex. Fans can expect an electrifying matchup between the Party Animals and a newly introduced team, the Loco Beach Coconuts, part of the Banana Ball Championship League.

What Makes Banana Ball Different?

Banana Ball reimagines traditional baseball with a focus on speed, showmanship, and fan interaction. The rules are designed to keep the game moving and the audience engaged.

Here’s how Banana Ball keeps it spicy:

  • Foul balls caught by fans = outs (bring a glove!)
  • Players can steal first base
  • No bunting. Ever.
  • Every game ends at 2 hours – no dragging, just action

Games include choreographed dances, trick plays, and constant entertainment, making Banana Ball a national sensation that’s filled stadiums like Fenway Park and Angel Stadium.

How to Get Tickets

Tickets are only available through a random lottery system. To enter:

  • Sign up at BananaBall.com by October 31, 2025

Beyond the Ballpark

The Savannah Bananas also use their growing popularity to support Bananas Foster, a nonprofit organization focused on celebrating and assisting foster families through resources and community engagement.

And yes, the Bananas have even made an appearance at Disneyland, so you could say this Disney love story has been ripening for a while.
