Today’s DIS Unplugged Video
Today on the DIS Unplugged, we attempted to stream our Disney Cruise Line show, but my internet cut out about halfway through the episode, forcing us to call it off. However, as soon as I was able to reconnect, we got together on Skype and recorded an episode. This episode is about cancellations and future cruise credits, so it’s very important to watch if you’ve had a Disney cruise affected during this time.
Today, we also relaunched our Moving to Orlando series, which aim to help you gather information to help you make the move to central Florida! We kicked off the series with an episode explaining who we are, why we chose to move to the Orlando area, and where we decided to live. It seems like we all ended up here for similar enough reasons, but there’s more to the story and of course many differences on where we all selected to live. Give it a watch!
Today’s DIS Video
Today on the DIS, I put up a Disney Park Bench video from 2017 that I never ended up releasing. This one is like traveling in a time machine, because it’s a park bench looking at The Great Movie Ride! I recorded two park bench videos before the attraction closed (daytime and nighttime) to capture the ambiance of the area in case it changed with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, but I didn’t release the nighttime version. I’m not sure why, because it’s extremely calm and peaceful, but now it’s here for you to watch!
Today’s Disney Find
The more I’m looking for retro videos on YouTube about Walt Disney World, the more I stumble across the same videos uploaded by multiple people. One that caught my eye multiple times is today’s find. A Day at the Magic Kingdom was a VHS tape you could purchase at Walt Disney World in 1991 and it’s a hoot. It transports me back to my first visits and is really a perfect time capsule of that era. The version I’m sharing isn’t by any means the best quality out there, but I like that they included even the FBI warning in the beginning of the video.
Welp, that’s it for today’s picks. I don’t think I gave you too much homework to do and if I didn’t give you enough then the good news is tomorrow is just a day away. Please subscribe to The DIS and DIS Unplugged on YouTube if you already haven’t. Happy watching!
