During one of the many times I scroll Instagram daily, I came across a post from Walt Disney Animation Studios today that struck a chord. I’ve never been there or seen this building in person. I have only ever seen the gorgeous structure in photos or quick videos online. When I saw the perfect placement of a Santa hat atop Dopey’s head, I thought it was just the cutest thing and knew I had to make sure that all of you saw it, too. Just look at how adorable he is with the pom-pom almost touching his feet! Seriously, could he be any cuter? Nope.
I love that Imagineers have also outfitted the Partners Statue; Walt and Mickey Mouse are wearing Santa hats and have warm, festive scarves tied around their necks.
These lovely vintage-looking Christmas ornaments that hang over the walkway shown above remind me of the [much smaller] ones my grandmother used to have hanging on her tree when I was a child. I only wish she was a little more of a hoarder so that I could have gotten my hands on at least one before she passed them along.
These larger-than-life lawn ornaments could be one of my favorite holiday decorations. From the super thin ring at the top for attaching hangers to the ornate detail on the little cap that holds it all together, I love every single detail. I suspect these gorgeous ornaments are not glass, but the photographer’s reflection in the image above makes me wonder if they could be. Regardless of what they’re made of, I am in love with them and all their glorious detail, simple as it may be.
What’s your favorite type of holiday decoration?
