Apparently, Disney is working on their newest live-action release, this time in the theme of Lilo & Stitch. This animated classic was originally released in 2002, introducing all of the Disney fandoms to a new, mischievous character that we would grow to love. The character is a departure from the conventional English-speaking leads, stealing our hearts in the form of an adorable alien sidekick. News of the project broke in 2018, with the film not making much progress in the following five years.
The live-action remake has been kept reasonably under wraps up until now, with only the creative team behind the scenes being disclosed. The Hollywood Reporter yesterday released an exclusive article naming Hollywood actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis as the newest sign-up for the project, in a role not yet defined publicly.
