The Little Mermaid was one of my first Disney movies. It was not necessarily the first one I saw, but it was the first one I remember going to the movies and loving. Part of me fell in love with life under the sea at that moment, and ever since, I’ve definitely indulged in my inner mermaid. The 35th Anniversary of this movie is now upon us, and apart from a terrifying reminder of how quickly life flies by, it’s a fun reminder for those of us who have had the privilege of loving this movie as both children and adults.
