I might be biased because I absolutely love both Melissa McCarthy and Awkwafina, but I absolutely loved watching this short video that the Walt Disney Studios released of the cast reacting to seeing The Little Mermaid film trailer for the very first time. In all the controversy over the casting, it’s easy to forget about the work that has gone into this film and the mix between live-action filming and special effects that would mean even the actors themselves would have been surprised to see the result.
