The Walt Disney Company to Close Blue Sky Studios


According to an article on Deadline.com, Disney is closing Blue Sky Studios, the $5.9 billion former 20th Century Fox animation division, which released 13 feature films during its run, including the Ice Age series, Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!, and Ferdinand among others. Disney and Pixar’s ‘Soul’ to Stream Exclusively on Disney Plus


Disney and Pixar have just announced that the upcoming movie, Soul, will begin streaming exclusively on Disney+ beginning December 25, 2020. The film was previously scheduled for a theatrical release on November 20th but will not have that limited theater release after all.
