The Walt Disney Company Issues Cautiously Optimistic Earnings Report for Quarter Ending March 31

Tuesday afternoon, The Walt Disney Company released their earnings report for the 2nd fiscal quarter of 2020 (ending March 31, 2020), showing revenue up 21%, but income down 37% over last year for the quarter. Diluted earnings per share decreased 63%. Disney Wonder Sailings to Alaska & Hawaii Cancelled Through End of June

UPDATE 04/09/20: Disney Cruise Line has extended the 125% future cruise credit offer [below] to guests that moved or cancelled their affected Alaska and Hawaii sailings between January 30th and April 5th, prior to those cruises being cancelled by Disney. Disney Cruise Line Discounts and Special Offers Released the Week of March 30, 2020

There continues to be adjustments to the list of Disney Cruise Line discounts as the ships’ return is delayed, but that hasn’t stopped the addition of new discounts. This week, Florida residents get some love with new discounts on ten late-June and July sailings to the Bahamas. Handful of Guests on Disney Wonder Sailing from New Orleans March 6 Test Positive for COVID-19

UPDATE 4/5/20: According to Cruise Law News, 38 crew members aboard the Disney Wonder have now tested positive for COVID-19. The captain reportedly announced the news to crew members last night via the ship’s intercom.
