The wait is finally over! Halloween is coming soon to Disney Experiences around the world and we have the details on what to expect for Disney Halloween 2024. Let’s start with Walt Disney World!



Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be returning to Magic Kingdom Park on August 9! The annual Halloween event will take place on select nights through October 31. Tickets will cost $119 – $199 and go on sale for guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green starting May 8. Tickets will be available to all guests starting May 15.



Fan-favorite entertainment will be returning, including Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Mickey and Minnie will be in new costumes during the party, Bruno and Mirabel from Encanto will be meeting guests in the Fantasy Garden, and a new DescenDANCE Party will be happening inspired by the upcoming Disney+ movie, Descendants: The Rise of Red. Start planning your costumes now and grab the biggest bag you have for the trick-or-treating!

Here are the dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2024:

  • October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Over at the Disneyland Resort, Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party will return to Disney California Adventure on 27 select nights starting Sunday, August 25. This separately-ticketed, after-hours event allows guests to wear costumes, explore immersive treat trails, spot unique characters, and enjoy special entertainment like the Frightfully Fun Parade! It wouldn’t be a special party as well without themed merchandise, food, and beverage only available during the parties!



Oogie Boogie Bash dates include: Sunday, Aug. 25; Tuesday, Aug. 27; Thursday, Aug. 29; Tuesday, Sept. 3; Tuesday, Sept. 10; Thursday, Sept. 12; Sunday, Sept. 15; Tuesday, Sept. 17; Thursday, Sept. 19; Sunday, Sept. 22; Tuesday, Sept. 24; Thursday, Sept. 26; Sunday, Sept. 29; Tuesday, Oct. 1; Thursday, Oct. 3; Sunday, Oct. 6; Tuesday, Oct. 8; Thursday, Oct. 10; Sunday, Oct. 13; Tuesday, Oct. 15; Thursday, Oct. 17; Sunday, Oct. 20; Tuesday, Oct. 22; Thursday, Oct. 24; Sunday, Oct. 27; Tuesday, Oct. 29; and Thursday, Oct. 31. Admission to the after-hours event gets you into Disney California Adventure three hours before the party and you get unlimited PhotoPass photo downloads during the party. It has not yet been revealed when tickets will go on sale, so stay tuned.

On the high seas, Halloween on the High Seas will return for Disney Cruise Line. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck will have new costumes, with Mickey and Minnie channeling a bat and Donald becoming a gentleman spider. Select sailings in September and October will bring Halloween along with Mickey’s Mouse-querade, trick-or-treating, and specialty eats and drinks!

The Disney Treasure won’t be ready for this year’s Halloween on the High Seas, but it seems like a perfect time to get more details about the Haunted Mansion Parlor coming to the ship! Disney has shared new details from the bar including a ghost fish aquarium and some of the portraits that will be part of the eerie portrait gallery. Also, will they be selling Haunted Mansion Parlor-inspired tiki mugs at this bar and sign me up if it’s true.






Around the world, Hong Kong Disneyland will bring back Halloween favorites such as House of De Vil-lains, the award-winning show Let’s Get Wicked and the Nightmare Before Dinner experience, complete with character greetings and an atmosphere show from September 12 through October 31. Disneyland Paris’ Disney Halloween Festival will be October 1 through November 3 and includes the fan-favorite show Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, Disney Villains, and so much more. Tokyo Disney Resort will have brand new theming, new entertainment and more from October 1 through November 7.



Ready to get in the Halloween spirit right now? Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs in Orlando will be celebrating Halfway to Halloween from May 6-8 while supplies last with a variety of offerings including Mephistophelittle’s Hand Pie, a flaky pastry packed with chocolate chip cookie dough and lined with dulce de leche; The Frankenstein Cookie, made from M&M’s, crushed Oreo Double Stuff, and chocolate chips; a free Barnabas Mephistophelittle promo card with purchase of medium and large cookie boxes; as well as Barnabas Mephistophelittle merchandise. Kayla’s Cake at Downtown Disney District in Anaheim will have Skull Macarons with vanilla confetti buttercream and a printed black skull from May 6-9 while supplies last.



Finally, keep an eye out for new merchandise this Halloween season on DisneyStore.com, including the return of the popular Mickey Mouse pumpkin home décor, frightfully fun clothes featuring Mickey Mouse and Friends, and a hauntingly new collection inspired by the Haunted Mansion.
