Disney fans can expect to see some familiar pantry staples popping up in new places over the next few years.
The Walt Disney Company and Kraft Heinz have announced a new long-term partnership that will bring the food company’s brands to Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and even Disney’s media platforms. The multi-year agreement will span everything from dining and guest experiences to marketing campaigns and special events.
According to the announcement, ten Kraft Heinz brands, including HEINZ, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, and Kraft Mac & Cheese, will become part of the experience at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line sailings throughout North America.
Disney says the partnership will introduce new menu items and dining experiences inspired by its stories and characters. Guests can also expect to see new HEINZ condiment stations and custom-designed serving equipment installed at hundreds of dining locations across the resorts and aboard Disney Cruise Line ships.
Disney and Kraft Heinz will work together on marketing, digital content, and promotions. This partnership will take place not only in the parks but also across Disney’s television, streaming, and media platforms.
Fans attending D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim this August will get one of the first looks at the new partnership. HEINZ is expected to showcase new sauces from its Sauce Vault during the event as part of the collaboration’s official launch.
Disney wants to create new experiences that bring families together with both brands in fun and memorable ways. Kraft Heinz agrees, pointing out that many families have enjoyed their products while watching Disney movies or visiting Disney parks.
The partnership officially begins this summer, with new offerings rolling out throughout the year across Disney’s North American parks and resorts, Disney Cruise Line, and additional Disney experiences. While Disney hasn’t shared exactly what all of those new offerings will look like just yet, guests can expect more details in the months ahead as the collaboration continues to expand.
