Character-inspired costumes are finally available for adults at Disney World… and just in time for the Halloween season to begin! While kids costumes have always been a staple at Disney, it’s rare to see versions for adults even though costumes are encouraged for events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There are four different highly-detailed cape designs including The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella, Jafar from Aladdin, Hades from Hercules, and The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The capes are a great way to make any outfit a costume and are all really well-made. This collection comes with a new wave of Disney Villains presence in the parks – likely in preparation for everything coming to Villains Land at the Magic Kingdom. We spotted the Jafar, Hades, and The Evil Queen capes at Once Upon a Time at Hollywood Studios and The Fairy Godmother Cape at World of Disney at Disney Springs.
Fairy Godmother Cape – $69.99
Satin cape with hood, periwinkle exterior, pink lining, and over-sized bow with top velcro closure.
Jafar Reversible Cape – $79.99
Black and red microfiber cape with a fabric version of Jafar’s headpiece as part of the hood. The cape is fully reversible to become Jafar as a cobra complete with the snake head as the hood.
Hades Cape – $59.99
Black and grey cape with embroidered details like flames, a teal geometric print, and Pain and Panic on the back, plus a skull velcro closure.
