5 Children Heading to Walt Disney World with Church Group Among Those Killed in Fiery Crash

The significant crash that took place Thursday afternoon on 1-75 in Florida lead to the deaths of at least seven people — including five children — who were heading to Walt Disney World with their Marksville, Louisiana church group.

According to reports, two semi trucks, a passenger van, and a mid-size sedan were involved in the wreck. Their collision ignited nearly 50 gallons of diesel fuel. The other two people killed were the drivers of the two semi trucks involved.

The accident took place between Gainesville and Alachua Country at approximately 3:33 p.m. local time, according to authorities.
