I always love it when a fun event that takes place in my hometown gets a small piece of Disney Magic added to it. Now, I’m not from Newport Beach, but the folks who are will be getting a real treat this holiday season! Taking place from December 14-18, 2016 in Newport Harbor, CA, the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade is getting some extra magic and it’s exciting as it’s one of the longest running holiday traditions in the country.
The beloved parade consists of beautifully decorated yachts, boats, kayaks, and canoes that will sail along the harbor and this year, a specially decorated Main Street Electrical Parade-inspired boat will be joining in on the fun each night of the parade. In fact, Mickey Mouse himself will serve as Grand Marshal of the parade on its first night and will be accompanied by Disney Ambassador Allie Kawamoto.
