‘Walt Week’ held to honor Walt Disney’s life at D23 and Disney Parks

December 15th marks the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney’s passing. In remembrance of Walt Disney’s life, the Disney Parks and D23 are holding “Walt Week: Celebrating a Legacy of Imagination, Creativity, and Innovation.” At the Disney parks around the world, guests will be able to share a message in remembrance of Walt’s life on Memory Boards. The Memory Boards will also be on display at the 2017 D23 Expo from July 14th-16th in Anaheim, California.

  • Walt Disney World Resort: Inside One Man’s Dream at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 9 am to 7 pm
  • Disneyland Resort: Inside the Main Street Opera House at Disneyland Park from 9 am to 7 pm
  • Disneyland Paris: Inside the Liberty Arcade on Main Street, U.S.A. from 10 am to 7 pm
  • Hong Kong Disneyland: Inside Art of Animation on Main Street, U.S.A. from 10 am to 8:30 pm
  • Tokyo Disney Resort: Mark Twain Riverboat queue from 8:30 am to 10 pm
