Additional Closings Announced at Downtown Disney, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort Hotels

As circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus outbreak continue to change rapidly, Disney has announced additional closings based on guidance issued by local, national, and international health agencies.

Beginning March 17 through the end of the month, Disney Springs in Florida and Downtown Disney in California will be closing all of the Disney owned and operated locations, including shops and restaurants. Select restaurants and retail locations at Disney Springs may remain open and guests are being advised to call the location they wish to visit for their operating hours.

Additionally, Disney owned and operated hotels at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort will close at 5 p.m. Friday, March 20 through the end of the month giving guests the time to make necessary travel arrangements or book alternative accommodations.

Those cast members who work in the Disney owned locations – along with the rest of the cast members – will be paid through the end of the month.
