Disney gave fans their first glimpse at Frozen 3 during the Entertainment Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, debuting a new teaser trailer that appears to tease both a wedding and a mysterious new threat. The footage shows what appears to be Anna and Kristoff preparing for their wedding in Arendelle, before Elsa discovers a mysterious rock or piece of ice that sends the characters on a new adventure.
The teaser also introduces a new female villain, while fan favorites Olaf and Sven return for the journey. Olaf apparently has a love interest of his own this time around, Samantha, adding another playful element to the upcoming sequel.
The D23 audience also received a special treat when Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell took the stage and performed together live. Josh Gad later joined them and teased new music connected to Samantha, giving fans an early taste of what Disney has planned for the next chapter of the Frozen franchise.
