Avengers Campus Dining Will Include Pym Test Kitchen, Shawarma Palace, and More

Avengers Campus opens at Disney California Adventure on July 18th, and with it comes several new dining options, including the previously announced Pym Test Kitchen, which will feature “traditional food at very nontraditional scale,” plus the Pym Tasting Lab, Shawarma Palace, and Terran Treats.

Pym Test Kitchen

Disneyland Resort Culinary Director John State says that at Pym Test Kitchen “we are shrinking problems and growing solutions.”

As you enter the test kitchen, the ceiling hints at the quantum tunnel and a conveyor belt carries pretzels that go from normal to ginormous.

Other menu items include The Impossible Spoonful, which includes large and small plant-based meatballs served in a large spoon with a tiny fork.

Also try the Pym-ini sandwich on toasted focaccia, which is served individually or as a huge family-style sandwich. The panini includes salami, rosemary ham, sun-dried tomato mayonnaise, and arugula with marinara on the side.

The Not So Little Chicken Sandwich is perfect for guests that are watching their carbs as the crispy breaded chicken breast has grown, while the bun has shrunk. The sandwich is topped with sweet teriyaki sauce and spicy chili sauce, plus pickled cabbage slaw.

To drink, try a glass of green Pingo Doce soda, which tastes of lime and vanilla.

Pym Test Kitchen will feature outdoor seating overlooking the Avengers Headquarters.

Pym Tasting Lab

Next door is Scott Lang’s pet project, the Pym Tasting Lab, where the focus is on adult beverages and snacks.

The Lab will feature craft beers on tap that are poured using a reverse draft system that fills from the bottom up. In addition to choices ranging from blood orange hefeweizen to amber lager, look for four different beer cocktails.

Snacks will come in small bites with big flavors, like sweet and savory popped grains, mini pretzels, and honey-roasted peanuts.

Shawarma Palace

This outdoor vending cart will serve both chicken shawarma with garlic sauce and a Impossible plant-based shawarma.

Terran Treats

Another food cart will feature intergalactic treats, including the Cosmic Cream Orb, meant to look like an Infinity Stone, but filled with raspberry cheesecake mousse.

There will also be a changing variety of churro-like Sweet Spiral Rations.
