According to KTLA, the expansion of Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park, which was announced at the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, will require the removal of some backstage locations, including the Red Car Trolley Barn. According to Disneyland Resort officials, the barn’s removal will result in the discontinuation of the attraction. Construction is set to begin in early 2025.
Disneyland told KTLA that the attraction will close in early 2025 and that more information on the specific closure date will be shared later.
