Guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season are treated to delicious gingerbread treats and many other magical, seasonal displays. The pastry teams have been busy as elves preparing for the grand openings of their annual tradition of putting together some of the most stunning gingerbread and chocolate displays in the country, creating true destination-worthy displays of food as art.
Brand new this year at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Cinderella Castle has been recreated in a Mary Blair-style set on an “it’s a small world” backdrop, with oversized gingerbread cookies depicting Cinderella and Prince Charming greeting guests from the Castle forecourt.
The 18’ tall display was crafted from thousands of gingerbread blocks, rolled fondant, and modeling chocolate.
This beautiful new gingerbread house can be found beginning today and throughout the holiday season on the 3rd floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Stop by our Christmas at Disney World Resorts page for a complete list of all gingerbread displays you can find during the holidays!
