Smokejumpers Grill at Disney California Adventure has updated its menu, adding a new vegetarian option, updating its chili recipe, and upgrading its chicken nuggets.
The new Campfire Chili is a bison-black bean chili which, along with the new Bear Paw Slaw, is offered on many of the restaurants sandwiches and burgers. You can also get a bowl of Campfire Chili [$6.49] topped with cilantro cream and served with a cornbread muffin, or a side of Chili Cheese Fries [$6.99].
The new vegetarian dish is the BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich [$11.99], which is topped with Bear Paw slaw, house-made sweet pickles and crispy onions, and is served on a toasted ciabatta roll. All sandwiches now offer the option of waffle-cut fries or onion rings on the side.
The Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich [$11.99] is also new. This sandwich includes Bear Paw slaw, house-made sweet pickles, avocado-ranch and blue cheese sauce.
The restaurant’s Chicken Breast Nuggets have been switched out for Chicken Tenders on both the regular and kid’s menu. A regular order of Chicken Tenders [$10.49] is now served with waffle-cut fries or onion rings.
In addition to the updated Chicken Tenders [$7.49], the kid’s menu now includes a Grilled Cheese Sandwich [$7.49] and a Chicken Skewer [$7.49]. All kid’s meals are served with baby carrots and a yogurt smoothie, plus milk or bottled water.
Finally, the Grilled Chicken Salad [$9.99] has been updated and is now topped with black beans, corn, peppers, queso fresco, pumpkin seeds, and cornbread croutons, plus an avocado dressing.
