Back in August, the Disneyland Resort changed their parking policy at their Downtown Disney parking lot, eliminating all free parking without a purchase of some kind. This week, Disneyland adjusted the policy a bit by increasing the number of free hours guests will receive.
The updated policy provides 3 hours of free parking (up from 2) with a minimum $20 purchase at any one Downtown Disney quick-serve restaurant, merchandise location or kiosk. Guests can receive up to 5 hours of free parking (up from 4) with validation from any Downtown Disney table-service restaurant or AMC Theatres.
The rest of the parking rules remain in place: Any additional hours will be $12 per hour, charged in 30-minute increments (following a 15-minute grace period). The maximum daily charge is $48.
