BREAKING: New Attraction named Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Hollywood Studios result

Earlier this week the DIS reported that Disney filed permits titled ‘DHS Project M’ in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today at the 2017 D23 Expo it was officially announced that the intent of these permits is to create a Disney movie themed attraction hosted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

The attraction will now be titled Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and will bring guests into the world of a Mickey Mouse short! The attraction will feature a new theme song made specifically for the attraction! On the ride Goofy will act as the engineer!

In order to begin to prepare the new home of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at the Chinese Theatre in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, August 13, 2017 will be the final day of operation for The Great Movie Ride presented by Turner Classic Movies. Until August 13, you can still relive some of the greatest movie moments in history on the Great Movie Ride attraction.
