Toy Story Land opens exactly 100 days from today and the toys are beginning to make their appearance in Andy’s backyard where guests will soon be able to see all of the wonderful things that Andy has built with his toys! Above, you can see Jessie helping Rex hang Christmas lights around the Slinky Dog Dash.
Guests will shrink down to the size of a toy as they are welcomed by Woody when they enter Andy’s backyard. The details are incredible! Slinky Dog Dash is situated as though Andy placed it right in the middle of his backyard. You’ll see plenty of oversized grasses and oversized flowers, much like your own backyards! All over the yard, it will appear as though Andy just finished playing and dropped his toys right where they are located. Woody’s Lunch Box is tipped over and propped up with a thermos to allow guests to walk up and purchase food and soda fountain beverages from Tupperware windows!
Just beyond Slinky Dog Dash, you’ll see the galactic playset Andy won at Pizza Planet turned into the Alien Swirling Saucers attraction where guests will whirl around through space while 90’s music blasts.
Everywhere you see something that Andy would’ve touched in his backyard will be made to look as though it has been touched by Andy.
Buzz Lightyear, Sheriff Woody, and Jessie will all be a part of Toy Story Land greeting guests on a daily basis.
A brand new entrance is being created to enter the Toy Story Mania! attraction from Toy Story Land in the form of a carnival game box that guests will walk through from the backyard and into Andy’s room!
Toy Story Land opens on June 30, 2018!
