Hollywood Studios Rides and Attractions
Disney’s Hollywood Studios takes guests to infinity and beyond, allowing them to step into the worlds of their favorite films, starting with Toy Story Land. This new 11-acre land transports guests into the adventurous outdoors of Andy’s backyard. Guests will feel as though they’ve been shrunk down to the size of a toy as they are surrounded by oversized toys that Andy has assembled using his vivid imagination. Using toys like building blocks, plastic buckets, shovels, and game board pieces, Andy has designed the perfect setting for this land, which includes two new brand new attractions and one expanded favorite.
Slinky Dog Dash is a family-friendly roller coaster that takes guests on a toy-filled adventure through Andy's backyard on the back of Slinky Dog. The entire coaster appears as though the track was built by Andy using a Mega Coaster Play Kit!
This attraction features the little green aliens from The Claw inside Pizza Planet. Guests will climb into their "toy" rocket and as the green aliens lead the way on an interstellar romp set to some amazing tunes. And if you’re really lucky, you just might get “chosen” by the claw!
The existing Toy Story Mania! attraction has a brand new entrance in the form of a carnival game box that guests will walk through as they enter from Toy Story Land!
During the 30th Anniversary celebration media event on May 1, 2019, it was announced that a brand new Table Service restaurant named Roundup Rodeo BBQ is coming to Toy Story Land! We don't have an opening date yet, but the restaurant will be located near Woody at the entrance to the land. Below is the official description and concept art from Disney.
Using three cardboard boxes cut and taped together, Andy has created a new rodeo arena using some of his favorite toys, games, and play sets. And while some pieces are definitely western-themed, what makes this rodeo special is the broad assortment of toys that have been brought together to create a fun, colorful mashup-atmosphere that only a child could create.
Once inside, you’ll be surrounded by all of the rodeo festivities in-action as well as western town and train station play sets. And you just might spot some of your favorite Disney•Pixar characters scattered throughout the restaurant in the form of toys and game pieces including a toy version of Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull-toy and unique toy versions of Bo Peep and her sheep, all who appear to be performing in the rodeo together.
This immersive restaurant will surround guests with a kaleidoscope of toys, games, and playsets, providing yet another unique, fun, family-friendly dining experience that could only be had in Toy Story Land.
Toy Story characters, beloved by young and old, have starring roles in the playful merchandise available for purchase from two retail stands in the 11-acre land. Themed to a toy dump truck and toy camper, respectively, the locations are as adorable as the merchandise they offer.
Alien-themed light-up tumblers, colorful tote bags, home décor, caps and coffee cups, bracelets and backpacks, collector pins, and t-shirts – all celebrate the new land. Two playful headbands featuring the Green Aliens and Slinky Dog are a big hit along with other Toy Story character-themed merchandise. Vibrantly colored pins and lanyards can be found with all your favorite characters. Lastly, adorable “I Played There” commemorative T-shirts for kids are available to let the world know they were among the first to experience Toy Story Land.
The entire Pixar line of merchandise has been recently updated, so there is a freshness to everything, including existing merchandise. With special role-playing apparel, guests can dress head to toe like Buzz Lightyear, Woody, or Jessie.
Fans can also find the full line of Pixar merchandise in stores crisscrossing Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including Beverly Sunset, In Character, and Mickey’s of Hollywood.
