Disney California Adventure has released a closer look at some of the elements that are part of the upcoming Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, including some concept art from the immersive new Treat Trails.
This year’s Treat Trails, with their oversized cauldrons of candy, are themed to various Disney villains, including Oogie Boogie and the Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. The treat trails will be located throughout the park, and as guests make their way through the trail, they may even catch a glimpse of the character.
Disney has also shared some concept art from the new Villains Grove that will be located in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. The interactive walk-through experience will “entice party guests with a series of scenes, each creating a not-so-scary symphony of sound, light and shadows for you to explore on your own or as a pack.”
The Oogie Boogie Bash will also feature the return of the Frightfully Fun Parade, with the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow and the debut of a walk-around Cheshire Cat character; Mickey’s Trick & Treat, a stage show for younger guests; and the DescenDANCE Party, featuring the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost.
Oogie Boogie Bash begins September 17th and continues 20 select nights through Halloween. Tickets for most nights are still available.
