Oscar-nominated Annette Bening joins Brie Larson in Marvel’s first female-led superhero movie. Bening is the latest addition to an already star-studded cast, featuring Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn among others.
Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot in the 1990’s that becomes a superhero when her DNA is infused with an alien’s during an accident. The latest Marvel movie is currently in production and is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.
Captain Marvel is expected to release on March 8, 2019.
