On December 16th, Mickey Mouse and some of his pals will be returning to Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for breakfast.
Additionally, some new items that were inspired by their favorite dishes are coming to the menu as well.
Pictured below is the new Mickey’s “Celebration” Pancake, which includes whipped cream, celebration sprinkles, shimmering pixie dust, and more.
Here’s a look at the new “Loaded” Potato-Cheese Casserole topped with smoked bacon crumbles and chives.
Goofy’s Banana Bread French Toast combines the unique flavor of banana bread baked in zesty orange-scented French toast batter, topped with Espresso-mascarpone cream, toasted bananas, and chocolate crumbles.
Guests who can’t decide on which new item they’d like to try will be able to taste all three as part of an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style feast with other traditional breakfast favorites. Family-style service at Disney means that your server will bring serving dishes full of food directly to your table and members of your party will serve themselves.
Disney says that the character experience will be different from what guests are used to, but they will be able to see the characters “as they parade through the restaurant in their chef’s best.”
Reservations for Chef Mickey’s character breakfast will open on October 17th and can be made via the My Disney Experience app up to 60 days in advance. Disney Resort hotel guests will be able to make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days).
