Conservation Station, Rafiki's Planet Watch to Close Permanently in October rafikis-planet-watch-entrance-sign

Rumors have been swirling around the Disney community for the past couple of days regarding Rafiki’s Planet Watch moving to seasonal operation. We’ve just learned that cast members of both Conservation Station and Rafiki’s Planet Watch were told this morning that the locations would be closing permanently on October 21, 2018. The characters who have meet-and-greets in that area of the park, Doc McStuffins and Rafiki, will stop appearing on September 29, 2018.

We are unable to confirm at this time what will be taking their places at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but if you’d like to join in on the discussion to speculate with other Disney fans, you can find the thread titled, “Rafiki’s Planet Watch” on the Disney Rumors and News forum at DISboards.com.
