According to an article on The Verve, Disney+ might soon feature channels for its different content, such as Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more. These channels within the revamped Disney+ app could also contain classic Disney animated films, according to a report on The Information.
Details about when the new channels might launch are still unknown, as Disney has reportedly chosen not to comment. However, it’s believed that this potential move fits well with Disney’s aim of keeping people hooked on its Disney Plus app, which now includes Hulu content.
While a Disney+ subscription will be required to access these channels, it’s anticipated that they will still feature advertisements reminiscent of traditional television.
