
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Walt Disney Company and Playstation Vue agreed to an expanded distribution deal on Friday, September 27. The new deal will bring FX and National Geographic to Sony’s television platform. Both FX and National Geographic were acquired by Disney when they bought 21st Century Fox.
The senior vice president of affiliate sales for Disney and ESPN Media Networks Sean Breen said Disney, “looks forward to continuing serving subscribers the full value of our content.”
In addition to the new channels, Playstation Vue will continue to offer “ABC, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Freeform, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, ESPN College Extra, ESPN Goal Line, ESPN Bases Loaded, SEC Network, ACC Network, Longhorn Network, FXX, FXM, Fox Life, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo, BabyTV and ABC News Live.”
