With the November 12th U.S. launch of the new Disney+ streaming service rapidly approaching, The Walt Disney Company has confirmed the launch dates for several global markets. Disney+ also announced a special offer for fans attending this week’s D23 Expo in Anaheim.
Here’s when some other countries will have access to Disney+:
- November 12 – Canada ($8.99CAD per month/$89.99CAD per year)
- November 12 – Netherlands (€6.99 per month/€69.99 per year)
- November 19 – Australia ($8.99AUD per month/$89.99AUD per year)
- November 19 – New Zealand ($9.99NZD per month/$99.99NZD per year)
The price in the United States is $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year. Recently, however, a $12.99 bundle was announced that combines Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu.
At this week’s D23 Expo, attendees will be the first fans to subscribe to Disney+ and can take advantage of a special Founders Circle offer, which includes $23 off the annual $69.99 rate (with a three-year commitment) and an exclusive Founders Circle pin. D23 Members not attending the Expo will also be able to take advantage of the offer online through September 2nd.
Depending on the country, Disney+ should be available at launch on Apple devices, Google devices, Microsoft Xbox One, Sony TVs/PlayStation 4, and Roku devices.
Also, this morning Disney+ launched their social media presence, adding new accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
