The Walt Disney Company has purchased the Carousel Inn, a 131-room Good Neighbor Hotels located on Harbor Boulevard directly across from the Disneyland Resort.
The purchase for $32 million from Good Hope International was finalized on March 23 and was made using a limited-liability corporation, Carousel Holdings EAT.
According to a Disneyland spokesperson, the current management team will continue to operate the property as Disney currently has no long-term plans for the property, adding that Disney saw it as a strategic investment as chances to purchase nearby hotels and motels are rare.
